Thank you. My follow-through was working on a couple of bulls, non-existent on a couple. Satisfying though to put 10 together.

Much better than last month.

Today at work I bored a front sight mount for a .750 barrel to fit the .820 barrel on my 64 MS. Its a shorter barrel, so the sights will be closer together. But the rifle fits me perfect. Going to try the 25 yard Irons match tomorrow night.

Thanks for the fun
David
I guess you are shooting something different. We shoot 4 bulls w/ 200 max??
I havent posted in quite a while. Shoot a couple practice targets, couple times/mo, and 2 @ 50 yds in each match.

No,he shot it very right, great score, see the few rules section, 5 bulls, 5 shots each at 50 yards. 5 bulls, 10 shots each at 25 yards. Try this great game out, don't be afraid to post your scores so you can track your progress.

I saw the 481 cowboy shot. I proceed to shoot a 482 last night feeling pretty good. Then I see he upped it to a 483 with 2 perfect 100s. Great shooting!

Thank you Cowboy, One stinkin eight, I held the rifle too long and thought, "Just hold on the center and squeeze"

Yesterday I was planning on shooting Irons on my 64 MS with the bored out front sight mount. I forgot the thing on the counter, so I shot scope which is always in the case with the rifle.

TODAY I am cutting out of work early to try again and shoot my 25 yard Irons with the 64 MS. If it works out, I will use it for my Irons gun in sporter rifle and my MP R with palm rest and Hook for this Irons match.

64 MS fits me to a T.

Nice work anyway David.
Yeah, above 480 is definitely shooting in the clouds, even one slip-up costs you
Good work though, I don't know how you 480+ shooters maintain perfection for 50 in a row !!!

Individual scores: 93-3X 96-3X 97-3X 94-1X 93-3X

I put the sights on the rifle. Used a level to get the front sight mount what I thoght was straight.

Put a 1" dot @ 25yards. First shot hit the dot. PURE LUCK.

Shot the targets, moving the sight up 3 clicks after the first (top) Bull, then 2 more clicks up. Then I have no idea what happened to the bull botom left. I took the sight all apart, re assembled and shot the last bull.

Thanks for the fun.

I hope I get a chance to imrove this score.
David

Very excited about this score, one below my pr. I have not been shooting at my best lately, in fact you people almost kept me off the podium in all four classes last month. Thank you Bob for your hard work, and this great match.

If I might hypothesize....
Since your shots fell so consistently at 4 & 5 o'clock, I would guess a NPA that wasn't quite correct. The cluster of holes makes me think that you had everything "on", and that your follow through was consistent. Assuming a good sight picture, a slight misalignment of the NPA at the trigger break caused just a bit of drift to the POI.
Still, fine shooting.

Thanks, I will pay better attention to NPA next month. Of course I blamed the new used sight. It is kind of cheesy, and broke when I took it off at then end of the day.

Good shooting 4xs. That rifle looks like it has a lot of expierence.

Yes,if it could talk. .....it was an Israeli training rifle, presumably for 35 years. I had to do very little to it besides cleaning, it shoots good enough not to hold me back.
