Ummm you might have some problems getting those scopes from Eastwave. There might not be any problems from Eastwave, but my concern would be when you bring into into your country. I don't know what the rules are but for example getting anything from the United States is a real pain in the @ss for Canadians. The US has very stringent export rules that includes sales to Canada. For example I'd need export permits and the company would have to be on the exporting list if I wanted to buy a military scope from the states. Another example anything marked 5.56mm or 7.62mm isn't allowed to be exported. The Canadian rules don't care, but the US rules are brutal. I'd check the US import rules I have a feeling they are fairly restrictive as well.

Just something I'd look at since the consequences can be very severe. If nothing else it's worth checking into first.

Hmmmm, when I corresponded with Eastwave about the
PO 3.5x17.5P Compact optical telescopic sight with illumination of the reticle.

Well ... after trading emails with ansubismp and contacting East Wave Products Inc.
I was able to determine it was not the correct optic.
The company did not have the correct military version in-stock.

Moreover, I spoke with Eastwave about exporting to the U.S.
Why? Because I was interested in another optic they listed.
ZENIT PO CONNECT 01, 10x42, MIL DOT, Weaver Base - USD 216

If I remember correctly, I've since lost the e-mails, the Eastwave representative
indicated shipment to the U.S. wouldn't be a problem.

Ok...I have some news on this project.

First off in talks with my Russian contacts and partners currently almost no .22lr rifles are available. I think they are still trying to figure out which product to tool up for first, how many to make, and how much to charge for them, so that being said currently the complete rifles are off the table until they figure that out.

Secondly, there is no chance of getting the green laminated SV-99 type stocks anytime this year. Possibly next and it will most likely have to be a quantity order.

The good news is that the new black polymer SV-99 type stocks are going to look like a go for this year, but we need to hit a minimum quantity order otherwise they won't produce them for us either. I have ZERO pricing at this time, but email me at [email protected] YOUR FULL NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE, EMAIL ADDRESS (obviously ;-)), RIMFIRE CENTRAL user ID, and quanity you are interested in, also include somewhere on the email that your are wanting the SV-99 Type stock as I am currently taking orders for other products as well. I will put the list together and then when we have pricing I will contact everyone on the list to see if they are still interested at the price. If we have enough interest it will be a go and deposits will be required, if we don't have enough interest I guess I'll be the only one in the U.S. with one. :-P Seriously...if you want one then you will need to get on the list as I am not sure if these will be available again.

Polymer SV-99 Stock: Digital or Urban Camouflage

As attractive as the green laminate SV-99 stock is ... and, in my eye
it is a gem of a Biathlon stock.
Visually, I find the polymer version a subdued, no-nonsense statement of functionality.
To me it shouts ... assume a position, steady-the-sight picture and squeeze the trigger.

The stock has a straight forward purpose ... a dedicated chassis for a rimfire shooting machine.
So understated, I would consider painting the stock in digital camouflage.
Or, an urban camouflage pattern.
The polymer stock would be the centerpoint for my rendition of a tactical biathlon rimfire.

Can't determine whether this is a factory authorized modification.

Thumbs up

email will be forthcoming... I'm in. Will we need to procure our own biathalon 7-2 to fit this stock, and will it have the take down rear like the origional? I just want to make sure before I commit to this, I hope you understand.

MORE good news.....it looks like I will be able to get the CORRECT optics for these now too. This could be a one-time only deal....as is normal with specialty items like these....so we need to get a list of takers going on them quickly.

Email me at [email protected] YOUR FULL NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE, EMAIL ADDRESS (obviously ;-)), RIMFIRE CENTRAL user ID, and quanity you are interested in, also include somewhere on the email that your are wanting the PO 3,5x17,5P with illuminated glass reticule optic. I will hopefully be able to confirm pricing and if they come with the mounts (which I think they do) soon.

Cheers!

Brian

Again as seen in these photos:

Wink

Guys and Gals,

Jump in on this one. I don't think something like this will come along for a long, long time. I have my order in for two right now, one for a 7-2 22LR and one for a 22WMR. Any leads on where to find some new or like new 7-2s would be appreciated. regards, Dale.

What is the price estimation?

I only know how to be interested with a price estimation. With the dollar falling in value, price seems to be fluid and will be more so as time goes on.
