If this is the level of craftsmanship we can expect on the sv-99 project than I think I can speak for anyone on this site when I say, "Wow". I can't wait to see some more pics.

Right. The SV-98 looks great for sure but when can we expect to see that SV-99 up for sale? I would hope within the next two months??

There is a guy completing development of an SV-99 project that will be dynamite.
It could be had either with or without supressor as a break down style rifle
with a toggle bolt, SV-99 style scope, etc..

I met this guy at SHOT and he is in the final stages and will be offering it
for sale soon from what I currently know....

AOM, that is correct. I met us dragunov at the last SHOT show and we had a lot to talk about. Just wanted to get the word out on the Hide site about what he is doing with the SV-99. I think you had posted some info about it on that site as well some time ago. Still have not heard a definitive introduction date from him; but sounds like the composite stock version may be coming out first if all goes according to plan? This has been a long project and I hope it does happen and at a price most can afford. regards, Dale.

All I can say is Dale is a great guy!

As for the project still moving ahead actively...unfortunately many things are out of my hands on this so for each phase I/we must wait. I have been getting promised "any day" now for a long time on some critical issues with the project, but AS SOON as I know something I will let this board know. FYI....I have had 2 extensive and long international conference calls this week regarding many projects with this one included so hopefully I will have some news very soon.

Nope! Just moving slowly and honestly has had my attention that much lately as I have been working on other projects too. I will see if I can get a substantive update for you guys this week or next.
