Is this of any interest, I'm not sure.

If I see anything else, I'll be in touch!

Biglew77,

You could modify a Redfield sight base (mill the back side flat, and drill 2 holes) so it attaches to the side of the MTs-12 Receiver with two m5.80 metric screws.

Then use a Redfield International rear sight.

The Russian sight in the UK sale was missing the "J" bolt & nut. Though, it looked like a very nice sight. As Peter said, these are rarely seen available.

Biglew,

You got the sight @ a very good price! Well done.

Yes, it includes the Screw to attach it to the dovetail. It's a huge-headed screw slotted for a flat-tip screwdriver. The thread size is M5.80 for one of the five eye relief holes in the rail. The screw is under the elevation arm.

The "J" bolt isn't actually required. I'll try to post a pic of the J bolt.

Make sure you loosen all the adjustment lock screws before you remove the arm to get to the M5.80 attachment screw.

Where did you find your rifle?

A bueaty!!!

And, yes, welcome to the club!! Not many around for sure. I've had mine for a few months and it is my favorite shooter. It is capable of this kind of shooting with a couple of different ammo types. This is 5 from 50 yards with Eley CLub Extra (orange box). Have fun!!

Tony

Biglew77,

Yes, lots of these rifles were modified by D&Ting for weaver cases.

Thanks! As you can see, I built a bolt-on scope base. The rifle came with the hook buttplate. I also made a flat buttplate, w/ a dovetail base do it slides into the aluminum base and locks in w/ the hand knob.

My stank is all over this MTs-12!
