Scout butt pad??

I'm took the screws out of my stock butt plate because I want to try and find bigger butt pad for it to make it a little longer.

Questions:

The butt plate doesn't want to come off, is it glued on as well as screwed or just takes a little more preasure???????????

anyone find a good fitting butt pad to extend there scout??

Scout Recoil Pad

I used this below Recoil Pad on my Scout. This pad comes close to fitting but a little sanding is required. You will have to drill new holes for the screws. Also, you will have to decide whether the color (Black with a White Line Spacer) will look good with your stock. The pad also comes in Brown with a White Line Spacer which might look better with your stock? My stock was made by Claude Gatewood and the Black pad looks very nice with this stock.
