I sprayed mine with a gloss Miniwax finish and sanded them slightly when dry with #800 paper to get a smooth glossy surface that looks great with the stainless camper. Gives the gun a whole different look compared to the standard rubber grips.
There is a detailed thread in this forum on the subject.
Could you post a picture of the Camper with those grips?
Thanks

as far as the "gaps and overhangs" go, maybe someone can come up with a semi-permanent solution to filling in the gaps. it's the same concept as those "interchangable" backstraps on some pistols. all it would take is some molded rubber pieces and some double sided tape.

If you're talking about these "gaps", a few minutes contouring with some sanding blocks followed up with some stock oil will take care of things. Not exactly rocket science.

Does anyone have information regarding replacing grips on Buck Mark Black Label Carbon Fiber pistol with a target grip with a thumb rest?

I have a set of RF grips on my Contour that I got 3 years ago. they are excellent quality but I found that the single screw holding the grips in place was insufficient to prevent the grips from rotating slightly and interfering with the slide, causing FTE's. I drilled a hole for a small roll pin in the right grip and frame and the problem disappeared.

to be fair, Randall told me this might be a problem since the grips were 'not' made for the Contour (there are the small gaps in the front and back mentioned earlier) but with the pinning, I am very happy with them.

Not sure what happened to the original pics, but this thread still has some.
