Just sent a reply to the pm you sent me, that a Hoehn tuner.
No such thing as scope overkill when you are shooting targets. My 93 has a Burris Signature Select 8-32x44mm on it. On a good day I do this with it.

I laugh when some guys ask about what kind of spotting scope to buy. Heck, I just mount my spotting scope right on top of the gun
yeah i agrre. people are really surprised half the time when they look through my scopes. i call alot of longer range shots for friends and talk them in one targets.it blows peoples minds when you tell the guy next to you how many clicks up and so many to the right or left. by the way i spot for a guy who used to be a marine sniper. and he does it for me sa well. really helps out. and thanx for the pm. much need. my .17 hmr match rifle will have one next year!!!

Here's my daughters.

I stripped it, my daughter dyed it and then I sealed it.

Barrel was re-chambered and re-crowned and I changed the trigger spring and put in shims.

Here's my 17m2, still got to get the bottom metal and do the trigger mods.

It's made by Accu-Riser. Bought it at Gander Mountain.

It's made of rubber, but it will take Fusion paint. It's great when using even a low mounted scope on a Savage.

Here's it is at Cabela's.

An Older Savage

Got this when I was 13(1962), it was used and in need of a referb. I reblued the barrel and was working on the stock when our house burned down. All I could save was the stock and barrel. It took 2 years on ebay to get everything I needed to put the gun back in to shape. Here it is and it shots very well.

Thanks for looking SNC

289 or 427? It started out as a #4D but I added a 4C barrel and action. The 4c action is smoother and the barrel came with Marbles semi buckhorn sights. For Iron sights this gun is my favorite.

MKII BV on the parents (in laws) farm, mother in law bought it for me last year.
I only get out to the States once a year and only get a few days shooting in.
Only allowed Air Rifles in the UK, all firearms are either on licence or banned
