My BB shows some great potential for the benchrest matches my buddies and I have, but it was always never rode the bags good enough to shoot against the 10 other old cm2's. So, I had an Amish guy make me a bolt on forearm that is 2.5" wide. It has a saddle running up the middle so the stock sits in it well. I have 1 small bolt counter sunk in the stock and forearm piece and it is real solid. I plan on drilling some 1/2 in holes in the piece to place some lead balls for additional weight.

I also tinkered with the trigger a bit. I tried to follow the adjustment threads on here, but could never get the necessary pins removed from the trigger group. So, what I ended up doing is sticking a small screw driver between the coils in the pull weight spring and twisting a little to, in essence, stretch the spring a bit. I went slow, and after a few adjustments, I got the second stage of the trigger down to about 10 oz. I'm anxious to see what she will do from the bench now, but don't know when I will be able to shoot it.

Believe me I've poured over the threads more than once. I could not for the life of me get the necessary pins removed and I've tried on more than one occasion. Atleast not without severely damaging something. Oh well, mission accomplished, even if the means to the end were rather crude.
