vs? Looks like it is a 10/22 clone, like tac sol, TC/R, Winchester Wildcat, et al. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

I am looking forward to reviews, but haven't seen anything other than the usual pre-release hype. I hope some new owners will be weighing in here soon, so am signing on to this thread.

I had asked my LGS to get one for me, and was told that they missed the first shipment so it would be September for the next one. That makes more sense anyway, as I don't need to be the first on my block to own one.

I like what I see and hear from the ads and shows, but the proof will be in the shooting. It all starts with a good barrel, and that seems to be a strong point with Bergara.

As for imitation, I wasn't impressed with the original 10-22 and am not aware of any special quality other than a huge aftermarket.

I have not had a chance to get to the range yet, but this BXR is well built and has a great trigger. To get the adjustable stock, light trigger, built-in mount and high-quality barrel for $450 seems like a good deal to me.
