Anyone shop through DVOR??

Log in to see fewer ads
Good morning everyone,
Hope your summer went well. I just came across this website:
https://www.dvor.com/what-is-dvor.html
Wondering if anyone on here has used it, and what your experience was? Iím in Canada , so import laws/rules apply of course, but they do ship to Canada.
From what I see, they are an offshoot of Optics Planet, which Iíve seen spoken of very highly, many times.
Thoughts?.
Thanks in advance for your time,
Ken

I have and everything ships from optics planet or at least that was my experience. No problems with them at all.

I have bought from them several times, no issues. It pays to be a shopper, sometimes the prices are better than others, sometimes not.

DVOR is a clearing house run by Optics Planet.
In the past, If you got others to join, they used to knock 10% off your next purchase- which could add up if you had a few joiners stacked up and bought something pricey.

Not sure if they still run it that way. Prices arenít bad, but I found that they seldom offered what I was looking for-

I've spent a bundle with OP and Dvor in the last few years. I check others but those two have the best prices most of the time.

But it's a strange relationship sometimes. Right now Dvor has a scope I'm interested in on sale for $499 (for two more days) and just today that same was in an OP sale email for $639.
A year ago I got a 10% off coupon from OP and used it on Dvor for that same scope at $499 so got it for $450, best price I've ever seen by far.

Another time I ordered a scope on sale for $350 and really liked it. Wanted another 3 weeks later but the price was back up to $450. The site says to call for Veteran discount so I called and they sold me another for $345.

Like I said, I always check many sites but they do have the best prices most often.

I purchased a Wilson Combat TTU trigger from Dvor a while back for an amazing price. It took a while to ship, but if you're patient the savings are worth it.

Yeah, Ken, sign up for their daily emails. They usually run short-term sales and sometimes run out of stock before the sale is over.

I just ordered a tripod and it was 20% cheaper than Amazon for the same product. This was one of their periodic specials so don't know if that price difference is always the case. Thanks for the DVOR tip. I'll be visiting them again soon. They have a Vortex Strike Eagle for a really good price...about $50 less than anywhere else I've found.

As others have said, it's a great site.

Their daily emails have caused my credit card to cry lots of tears...but I've saved enough to justify it every single time.

Have done business with Dvor a few times, no problems. AS others have stated, they are the outlet for Optics Planet.

Follow-up to post #10 above. I ordered the "Deathgrip" tripod with carbon fiber legs and their version of a hog saddle. Paid a bit over $200. I'm telling you this tripod is better than ones I've seen for 3X the money. It is heavy duty and should keep my shots right on the money. I've bought shooting sticks, monopods, by-pods, and tripods over the years, but nothing comes close to the quality of this product. And to get it for such a reasonable price is a big bonus. Thanks again for the DVOR tip. So Ken, tell them they owe you for the referral!!
