I found one the other day, unfired, still in the original box, for $512. I couldn't pass it up. I think the Ruger International, (mannlicher) is one of the prettiest rimfire rifles out there. Now, I'm considering a CZ 455 FS! I think I have caught the bug!

Here's my 77/22 mag with floated barrel, original stock, reamed barrel tip, trigger job with bushnell rimfire 6-18 scope ;it's my fave fox and bunny buster (I have two original Brnos from 1952) (that are tack drivers btw) I want the GM stock sent to me in oz and here's some groups at 100 yards the groups are in .22wmr thread I can't post twice. Gun shoots sub 1 inch at 100 yards and is a work in progress

Here's my 1990 "boat paddle" 77/22RSP. I replaced the cheesy, floppy 1" sling thingies with QD studs, so I could use my favorite sling, the G.I. 1 1/4" web type. Great improvement!

My recently purchased 1984 vintage 77/22 with the Simmons scope removed and a 4-12x Nikon installed.

I'm not sure yet where it will fall in terms of 5 shot group 100 yard accuracy compared to my CZ 453 Varmint and CZ 453 American (1 MOA), my Winchester Model 52Rs (1.0 MOA and 1.25 MOA), my Savage Anschutz 64 (1.25 MOA), my CZ 99 Precisions (1.25 and 1.5 MOA), and my Remington 540S (1.5 MOA), but I'll soon find out.

I just picked this one up from a local auction. It has the best factory wood I've ever seen on one of these. Whoever owned this must have been a serious shooter, because the Redfield scope was dead on at 50 yards.

Based on serial number mine is a 1985 model. I picked it up used that year, apparently the original owner did not think it exciting enough and traded it in for something else and i just lucked into it at a gunshop. I just wish it had been a model with open sights, but still a good shooter. I did upgrade the trigger and shim the bolt some years back. Wood is not quite as pretty as that one, but still better than average.

Photobucket seems to have change again, I will try to post a photo.
Looks like it still works,,wood case 77/22

Re-shapeed that crude square trigger a liitle, more like the trigger on a 1903 Win.

I have not found finer crosshairs then on this Weaver K6, the early weavy k6 was recommended for rimfire due to lack of serious parallax error.
Completely re.worked with all stock parts. The problem with this rifle was simply too loose tolerances from the factory, now easily holds 1/2" 50yd groups with CCI standard vel.

I own three CZ 452,s and they shoot, but this 77/22 SS boat paddle shoots 3/8" three shot groups at 50 yards from a bench with junk .22 Walmart ammo and is my favorite bad weather squirrel -small game rifle.
