Wow, you guys take great pictures, I have posted this rifle on here a long time ago. I had it out this afternoon to shoot in the RFC online offhand matches. You guys should get your selves and your 77/22's out and try these matches, great people, great practice.

I have a stock that came from a 77/22 17 WSM and it is definitely NOT Walnut but some type of Stained Hardwood

Here's my 77 started out stainless but it got a shilen heavy barrel. I could be happier. I could tell you what it does at a 100 yds with lapua midus+, But you wouldn't believe me. The trigger was worked on before I got it. It's a crisp 1lb. I used some shims in the bolt to take up some headspace. Man it's a shooter. How ever the barrel and tuning I can not say it help accuracy for the cheep bulk ammo's. How ever it shows when you use quality ammo.

Here's my 77/22 boat paddle. It's the first gun I bought, some 20+years ago. I recently replaced the seer spring and floated the barrel. I still love this gun.

How does it shoot since floating the barrel. Any improvements?

It has always shot well. I shot 20 rounds of very old Winchester Wildcat through it today in windy conditions. My best 10 shot group, at 25 yards, was 2 flyers and a ragged hole about 1/2 inch in diameter. I think lightening the trigger pull did more than floating the barrel.

That's awsome!! I've never had that kind of luck with wild cat on any gun. Trigger pull makes a difference that's for sure.

That's really nice I love it. I have a weakness for Blue Steel in Walnut stocks.
