My ultimate 77/22.

Ruger ALL-WEATHER 77/22..........$250.00

Leupold Vari-X III 1.5x5 scope..........$300.00

AWC Ultra II integral suppressor....................................

........................PRICELESS!!!!!!

Not the purdiest rifle in this thread by a long shot but it has character. I've owned (and used) this rifle since August 1997 and it shows. The scope has been parallax adjusted to 50 yards, the sling is custom made and swivel studs were installed. The green stock inserts were replaced with black ones and a flashlight rail was installed at the tip of the forearm. I tuned the trigger to a nice crisp 2lb 5oz and installed a trigger stop.

AWC did the rest.

It's rugged, reliable, functional, accurate, practically impervious to weather and me but most importantly...............it's ridiculously quiet.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.........if I had but one firearm that I could own it would be this one.

Couple of my 77/22's. Top one is an integral suppressed set up by TBA out of VA. Bottom on is an older boat paddle with green inserts and a cut and threaded barrel for a sparrow.

My recent finished project, Ruger 77/22 faced the bolt, shimed the bolt and installed the stiffer firing spring, installed a Broughton 5c barrel finished at 24" head spaced to .043 and bedded it in a boyds tacticool stock. the glass is a Nikon P-233 3-9x40.

this is at 45 yards.

At 100yds with CCI BLazer ammo!! i held high and right for last shot and got lucky!!

Love the rifle and that is very similar for my plans on my 77/22. Having a hard time deciding on a barrel and length honestly. I've looked at a few, but I really like the look of your 24inch barrel.

Ha! Ya my barrel lenght was a compromising situation! My blacksmith wanted to finish it at 27"!! I wanted 20" so we went 24".
Its a tad long for throwin around buts its ok. The gun feels like a rifle and not a red rider BB gun is what i like about it. I have a 2 groove benchmark blank that will finish at 22" im gettin chambered fir a spare.

Very nice! In some sense I'm copying your build....got the boyds stock ordered, barrel should be coming in this coming week which is going to be fitted to my 77/22. I'm mounting a 3-9x40 Nikon EFR Rimfire for a scope. Barrel is gonna end up at around 22-24 inches I'm thinking.
