Integrally suppressed, LRM Vidar. Need to touch the paint up a bit, since the top-coat is wearing a bit thin these days.

It was my first gun and I'll never part with it, although I'm strongly coveting a new barrel for it. Also on the wish list is a lighter adjustable trigger like the Spec Tec and some bolt tightening. It doesn't shoot as well as I'd like, but it's still a work in progress.
VERY nice work Patrick.
Good to see there are guys out there who will really dig in and create some fine art. What you have is a rifleman's rifle, a bit unusual in these days of plastic everything.
I'm also working on a built from scratch stock, same as you from a tree we cut down 15 yrs ago. Getting down to the finishing stage just now. Done a few guns like that, hard to let go of- aren't they !
Thx for sharing your work with us.

Oh YA ! I'm with you guys, That is one beautiful gun. What a rifle is supposed to look like. Sadly lost to many in this world of plastic guns.
Pretty nice to see there are a few here who remember what a classic rifle should look like.

Hi ShootNut,
Someone said you built that stock yourself. Is that right ? Checkering too ?
I see you are from Ky, so it wouldn't surprise me too much. There are some very nice pieces been coming from KY, TN, PA, over these past 240 years or so. People there seem to know what craftsmanship is about.

My hat is off to you, one nice piece. Thx for sharing it with us !
