Bearcat - stronger base pin latch springs

Put Wolff's in my Bearcats yesterday. I know, they're meant for hard recoiling Ruger SAs, but why not a .22?

I've had an occasional problem bumping the latch, mostly when loading and unloading. Lets the base pin slip out just enough that it doesn't keep the transfer bar pushed back, and can catch on the firing pin. The latch feels really positive now. Nice complement to the Wolff hammer springs.

Me too.

Couldn't have said it better! Also corrected a low left group (consistently so) by turning the barrel in the frame for wind age, and fileing the front sight to proper elevation. A Belt Mountain base pin and a bit of white paint pencil on the front sight blade for visibility made my New Model Bearcat a keeper!!
