New TC R22 trigger doesn't reset

Hey, so I have a new T/C R22. This is what it does. When I load it - chamber a round by closing the bolt - the trigger stays all the way to the rear. If I push it forward then its set and the gun will fire now by pulling the trigger. Also, after I push the trigger forward and it sets, it is maybe 2 pounds to pull it. I was shooting it the other day and the trigger was so light I fired a couple rounds when sighting in my scope before I was really ready by just touching the trigger. After a round is fired, the action cycles fine, but the trigger does not reset. So in a nutshell, the trigger will not reset, but all it takes is a slight push forward and then its ready -- but then pull is really really really light.

Suggestions? Before I look for a video on taking it apart.

I'm far from a T/CR22 (or 10/22) expert, but it sounds like you might be missing your trigger reset spring. It's a tricky little bigger to get in there and reassemble the trigger mechanism without a dummy pin.
