Installed a sling stud where the stock is dimpled. The mount on the other bipod is a Harris rail adapter mount.

How sturdy is the mount? I saw a video on youtube about it moving around but it was on a 700 model. I'm still bating on how to mount mine.

If the sling stud is installed correctly it will be rock solid. Either they didn't tighten the bipod to the mount or they over drilled the stud hole and it is loose.

CW all you need is Magpul's QD sling mount part# MAG333 type 1 & MAG332 type 2 for the butt side of the stock or if you want something further up on the stock go for the M-LOCK QD sling mount part# MAG606. I have all three on mine and they work great
