I found another knife...It is a Ka-Bar 1207 it is a late 60s early 70s era knife and it has been abused...the blade looks like someone took a grinder to it and it has rust in those marks, and the handle is dry and has some issues/marks damage. The hilt has some dings as well. The sheath is a wash. but I will get a Triple K replacement. The price was cheap for a desirable knife. I have been wanting a solid fixed blade knife that I will keep in a throw/go bag for fishing, hunting, plinking and wandering in the mountains. This should clean up well as it is all there, not over sharpened and a classic without spending a ton of $$. Here are some pics.

That's a nice find. The knife is beat up but not in a way that will affect it in use. It should cleanup very nicely.
