We went up to Cougar Mtn.
It's in the foothills of the Cascades. A few miles to the east of us...

A stunningly beautiful area Stan. Always loved to scan that area every time I flew through there and the Shenandoah National Park/Valley is just breath taking beauty.
I have to remember the beauty because as I said and my wife will anxiously attest to I can't take a picture worth a hoot. Shame on me for not learning.

Good shooting guys

Great picture's Stan

Between the weather, and not having much time due to a Springer pup arriving 9 days ago my shooting has sloooowwwed down. Warmup coming for a few days, so hope to get a few targets shot, and get Josey slowly acquainted to gunfire.

I might have to get ye olde Daisy out to give Stan some company in the airgun division. I shot a few of the GM 10-bull targets when I first got the rifle, as I recall I used a larger aperture and centered on the outer ring.

I've got a few targets that I shot last weekend with the Tikka and Henry, just have to get pics and post them.

Nice shooting gents.

Beautiful pup Ken. Looks like a hunter already.

Good luck with the bears Jack. A co-worker of mine harvested a very respectable one in the U.P. this year.

I ordered a air rifle to keep up the practice sessions and keep the Fun going in the winter. Need to construct a backstop in the rec room. We'll see how that works out.

I've been using a cardboard (cereal-sized) box filled with duct seal.

My 20 dollar pellet trap...
(It may be a little more - I haven't checked the prices on the duct seal recently)

BTW, what did you get??

Anschutz 1905 Black Air. Should arrive Thursday, can't wait to shoot it. There were a couple of gentelmen that shot air rifles at a 100 yd egg shoot. They did ok I think considering the conditions that day.
