A couple weeks back I picked up a ria xtm22 , a 22mag 1911 made 6 weeks ago with fixed rear and fiber optic front delayed blow back action with a surprisingly nice 3lb 10oz trigger . Only ammo I have is norma 40gr and usa made armscor but with 200 rounds fired reliably and far more accurate than I expected with less than 2 1/2" group possible with the norma ammo but it seems to like the usa made armscor too just have not shot it from a rest yet . Price was $489 dollars

Then last week I spotted a new Henry Frontier 22mag 24" for a low price of $479 dollars This rifle has been in there 22rimefire gun case for 4.4 years . Triggers ok in the 3lb 10oz range but with a bit of creep in the take up and brake . Hope it will become smoother after a few hundred rounds and I have only test fired it out the back door . Hope to get some range time with it to tomorrow . Both 22mag's sold for way below retail even in these sheety times .

Our gun store is a old general store in a small rural county in western NC and sells an an amassing amount of firearm and ammo but under normal times they display 400 plus firearms . Today there down at least 60% .

I don't have the Henry but I do have the Rock Island and it is a fantastic pistol.
Very reliable and a ton of fun to shoot. Fortunately where I live 22 mag is still readily available, unlike nearly every other form of pistol ammo!

I have the Rock Island 1911-A1 XTM 22 as well and love that little flame thrower. It's a great addition to the 1911 collection. humb: That's also a good price in today's market . . .

Thanks and it is a blast . I have to order ammo now . Sort liked the nomra 22mag now the general store sold out pf darn darn everything at this point . I still have right close to 1200 rounds now so I ok for a while . Got some trigger time with the henry too and its real nice , smooth action and triggers a little better .

Cant say enough good things about the RIA just love it and its fun to shoot. Fixed sights are the only drawback but mine seems to be sighted in at 25 right on.
