Question for the experienced shooters in the group:
What type of accuracy should be expected from a 7" barrel Micro Elite Pistol? I understand the pistol won't keep up with the 16" barrel from the rifles but lots of fun to shoot.
I have only been shooting for a couple months and really would like to know what to strive for.
This was my best from the latest trip to the indoor range. (Still over 100 degrees in Arizona so sticking with a range with AC .. LOL)
25 yards with bulk ammo, bipod and no rear rest, Holosun HS503CU and 3x multiplier.

Thanks Pipestone. Unfortunately, this was my "Best" for the day and actually ran from there to around .700. I chalk that up to me as part of the learning curve and know until I can continually hit those numbers it doesn't really mean much. My average for the day was just over .400. (Got to get lucky sometimes .. LOL)

What do you expect under the circumstances? Personally, I'm pretty chuffed when I shoot sub-MOA groups with my bolt-action rifle.

Hi Mrwug.
As a new shooter I really don't know but see so many posts with 5 shots in one hole. I guess my question really goes to the expectations using lesser firearms, bulk ammo with shorter barrels and knowing what is realistic at 25 yards with those limitations.

I used the same thought process when I worked my way up in tournament archery. Starting with lesser equipment until I was performing to the level of equipment and distance then took one step at a time.

I don't know if I will really get into the sport with firearms but having a great time so far.

(P.S. That was kind of a lucky group as I am a long way from that being my norm.)

Most of those groups you see with 5 shots in one hole are shot with a scope mounted. Your Holosun has a 2 moa dot which is fine, just not the best for shooting really small groups.
