I think you'll be real happy with the Lobos. I have used my dot in both rear and forward positions. I have found I needed to practice to have rapid dot acquisition with either location.

I do believe the Lobos is the lowest mount out there as well, and that will likely help your shooting.

I strongly considered one, but my gun is stainless. The look of a black weld on a stainless frame didn't work in my visual picture.

Post pics (I'd post pics of mine if it wasn't such a PITA to resize my pictures .. they always end up so small , it's barely worth it,) and let us know how you like it.

I just jumped on one foot , patted my head and rubbed my belly. This is the best I could do.

I think what works best for you is where you should place it. Put it different places and you will find that one seems more natural than the others ,that is the one you should use.

I noticed that on their website they show one of the mounts in polished aluminum and a stainless gun and it looked great. Oddly that option is greyed out and not available for purchase at this time.

Will do on posting pics, I hope to receive tracking info soon. BTW Imgur is very easy to use for hosting photo's and the stock size is just about perfect.

Oooh, I'd also like the code please. I run my Fadal in Fanuc mode. I really like your mount.
Thanks,
Eric

Like has been mentioned, I use the Tandemkross shadow mounts on my Ruger MKIV Hunters. I like the versatility of the Picatinny Rail for moving the Red Dot to the optimal positioning for my vision.

Here's a photo as promised. I absolutely love the Lobos mount, fit and finish were perfect. No regrets at all.
