I love the trigger. I havenít adjusted it nor am I sure if I even will. (Plus Iíve never adjusted a trigger). With that in mind, I donít think that I ever shot a single stage trigger so I really canít compare the 2 stage light trigger vs a single stage. It is better than any trigger that I have ever used. That includes my Geissele in my AR. It is what I have been most impressed with thus far.

I have a 1761 DHB and MPR, they are both excellent rifles and very accurate. Shot this over the weekend with my MPR at 50yds. Shooting off a sinclair F-Class bipod and rear bag.

That's a very nice target with no real flyers showing very good marksmanship.

Now if you had a scoring plug and a magnifier, I think you would add 3-4 points to your score!
Bulls 2-15-21-24 may add a point.

This is the plug to get.

Again nice shooting with un-known ammo or wind conditions. Hint.

Yes, a very nice rifle and scope! It should continue to shoot better and better.

FWIW, Calfee was probably quoting Col. Townsend Whelen. (More good reading for old farts!)

Thank You, The wind conditions were calm, Ammo was SK Standard Plus. I do not have much practice with shooting in the wind but I have been trying to learn. Recently put up some crude flags (Flagging tape). I will look into the scoring gauge. Thanks

I feel the same way about the trigger. It is a little heavy but breaks very clean and is working well for me so I am going to leave it alone. I did change the bottom metal from the plastic one that came on the gun to the metal one that they sell on nordic sportsman. I shot these 3 USBR Targets today. The gun is bone stock and just amazes me.

Very solid scores with an un-lot tested batch of SK (It can be lot tested by the way because they do provide lot #'s on the box), and you also provided wind and temp info.

So great job all the way around.

I did Chrono the ammo and got a SD of 5.91, I do not know what is considered a good SD but I have been told that this number was good. I guess I might as well present the question. What is considered to be a good SD #? What range should the ammo be in?
