Half of a cheap roast charcoal grilled. Stabbed, marinated, Adolfs. Singed both sides, and left under the hood with some mesquite chips with the dampers closed down. Came out great.

Kind of unusual but I made bitter melon curry. Bitter melon is an Asian thing. I grew them in my garden. Suppose to be very beneficial to your health. Especially good for diabetics, but I'm not.
The curry is basically bitter melon and potatoes with curry powder and coconut milk. It made a good lunch and it sat well on my stomach. I will definitely do it again. Figure if I eat like this I won't feel so guilty next time I make my world famous fried chicken.

Max's world famous fried chicken: Get some Fry Crisp Batter Mix. Batter and deep fry chicken pieces for 12 to 18 minutes, depending on size. I like it better than any fried chicken you can buy, and that includes KFC and Popeye's. Personally, I deep fry in a wok but I only make 3-4 pieces at at time for me and my wife.

Recteq's Bacon wrapped smoked pork tenderloin. With honey added as a binder for the dry rub. Smoke to 135...tent for 10 minutes. Serve with Jezebel sauce...

As I speak ...

... a pair of potato / egg taquitos cooked in office microwave are being consumed. Recipe is very simple: Cook potato in microwave, cut into small chunks, place in cup and mix with 1 jumbo egg. Mix up - heat for 1 minute. Then heat two flour tortillas, each with 1/2 slice of cheese for 20 seconds. Add egg-potato to each taco, fold and eat. In the past, a pre-cooked Jimmy Dean sausage paddy / link has been heated and added too.

Hard to screw up breakfast tacos.
