New to me 452 American

Found this CZ 452-2E American on the local gun list today and managed to scoop it up. Generally in excellent condition. Bore scope revealed a nice bore with only a couple of minor reamer marks. Came with a Leupold VX-2 3-9X40, rings, one mag and a brick of Federal 36gr HP ammo. Seemed to shoot pretty well this afternoon with some CMP Winchester target ammo I had in the locker. Trigger breaks at 3 lbs even but has some creep in it. I mounted up a Tasco 6-24X I had sitting around and will shoot it with some better target ammo to see how well it might do.

It's got "16" stamped on the received but I thought these were out of production by then.

They are a Rossi 62 that I have owned for 35 years or so, and a Remmy 241 that I have owned for probably 5 years. They shoot pretty well. The Rossi shoots better for me when I am shooting cans rather than targets, if you know what I mean.

The Remmy shoots great but occasionally won't kick the empties clear. I haven't figured out what's going on with it yet.

BTW, I paid $750 for the rifle, scope and ammo. I thought that was a pretty good deal, as I was lusting after the 452 in the classifieds for $650.

With the right ammo it should be a sweet shooter.
