I hear you. I went that route on one 10/22 I own - nothing like adding two $200 NFA tax stamps to the price of your 10/22.

I'll be getting a Odin Nav 22 soon. My other SBR is a double stamp gun too. 10.5" 300BLK with a Surefire SOCOM 300 SPS and it does have a red dot. The 10/22 SBR will be used for hunting as well.

10/22's are most CooL to short barrel. Mine has a 7" barrel.

Was going to put an Aim Point Pro on it, but I needed a little magnification for distant armadillos.

I just finished my 10.5" 300 BLK pistol about a month ago. I am waiting on YHM to do another run of Resonators. This is my first experience with 300 BLK. So far, I have only been shooting 125 grain supersonic. What a fun cartridge! Can't wait for the can, and some subsonic load development.

I am using cut down 5.56 brass for my ammo. I got a few boxes of Hornady 125 grain pills and a couple of cans of H110 before the panic started. I have primers for now, but I hope the component companies can ramp up before too long.
