It is basically like this.

I recently restored it, but need to fix or replace the kerosine reservoir as it has a couple of pinholes in it where it rusted through.

I ordered a coating made for that purpose, and am trying to order a replacement. It is a very kewl lantern!

If youíre looking for parts you can get some at the Adlake web store.

http://adlake.com/online-store.html

Not cheap though. The last time I ordered from them the lantern was complete with globe for somewhere around $75. Now itís $105 and you have to buy the globe separate and those are $48 to $52, depending on what color you want. Those were $25 last time I bought some. And shipping on top of that depending on the price of your items runs from $16.50 to $35.

I need a burner myself but hate to pay that kind of shipping. But if I want the one that needs it to work Iíll have to bite the bullet.

BTW, what they sell is for the model #300 but the fount (fuel canister) is the same size as the #100. Made cheaper in my opinion but it would work in a #100.

We spent some time in the (south) park today.

Got there just after it had rained. There is a lot more orange in the trees now.

I liked the first couple of seasons but haven't been to interested after that. I'm just watching it because I know the guy and he races on the local track.

Shooting yesterday with the girls wonít show my targets. One of my friends has this CZ 9mm all decked out hand gun. Looks like it could be a short barrel rifle, but you have to register it as a hand gun. Thatís always fun to shoot. My sister came out who hasnít shot since she was in the military and not a gun person. She had fun too.

Worked today at the clinic. Today was a good day

Good Night Everyone

Sounds like a fun day, even w/o me Gigi.

Hope to rest well and hit the grub stores hard in the am as we are almost empty in the freezers. Haircut with a new cutter would be nice to work in also to get that new me rejuvenated geezer look.

Somebody's spending too much time reading RFC.

Hang in there, Dean. I don't walk in your shoes, but I get the frustration. You're a big, positive influence on this place. Best wishes sent.

Played a little hookey today. I needed to vote and do errands in town, so I werked from home... left at noon to visit with gun club buds, who have resumed their Monday morning get togethers for coffee and donuts at the oldest one's house. At 63, i was almost the youngest in the crowd by a long shot, and the only one wearing a mask. I wish they would be careful, but methinks they have just simply decided it's time to live, instead of living in fear. Interesting. Still was great to see them.

Early voting place was booming with business in this little college town. I found myself wishing a lot of those I saw had decided not to be there, as I tend to imagine people's political persuasion with no more than a glance.

Thanks NNT!

I visited that website and yes they are pretty expensive! I bought some glass liner sealing liquid that I believe will repair the original one in the lamp. I would buy an original replacement if I could find one at a reasonable price.

I had a bizarre dream set last week. First time around, multiple thugs came in on me, and I was totally defenseless. Woke up, rattled my nerves so badly that I went and got the High Standard revolver that used to be Pop's that was hanging on a hook in the utility room across the house (possum and raccoon eradicator)and stuck it by me on the bed. Went back to sleep, and the same danged dream started all over again, BUT this time around I shot three of the intruders and the cops got the last. Most dreams are quickly forgotten, this time it stayed with me.
