It seems to me that they (I don't really know who "they" are) try to make everything difficult and confusing in order to minimize the # of cards that get used. It feels like a scam.
Instead of doing the activation on-line,I just called the number on the back of the card and went through the prompts.

Annnd....received another rebate today...which leaves only one more due.

Yes and what has been mentioned....a very very verrry slooow process for the rebate.

Most definitely won’t participate again if this offer is announced come this Fall/Winter.
See no reason the rebate can’t be subtracted at the register like so many other products.

CCI rebate Tracking, WHERE's the PIN NUMBER

Got my rebate two or three weeks ago, so I decided to use it, needed a couple boxes of .22 WMR to test out a Ruger Single Six I had bought. It states on the paperwork the MASTERCARD debit card that you receive, that the card needs activation before use. OK, cool, can do. Called number on paperwork and was doing fine until the computer I was talking to asked for"THE FOUR DIGIT PIN NUMBER" you need to activate the card. Guess what is NOT on the paperwork. Card is basically worthless.

I figure that if they can give me a rebate by mail, they should be able to give me one at the register.

I have bought many things that had a mail in rebate, that I never received, so that I don't do business based on that rebate. I just keep looking elsewhere.

Some of the worst gun related rebates that I have experience are:

Smith&Wesson - still waiting for my rebate on my SD40. Which I bought two years ago.

Federal-Bought some ammo and mailed in the rebate only to be told the rebate was already over even though the card I mailed in said the rebate was ending in six months.

CCI-never recieved

Speer-they had a mail in rebate on bulk 9mm and 40S&W never received either
one

The good guys:

Savage-Bought my nephew a .22 that had a mail in rebate. mailed it in and received rebate in two weeks.

Ruger-Bought my wife one of their small .380's got the rebate about a month later.

Don't know about calling it in??, but YOU have to assign it a PIN number that YOU chose when doing it on line.

I received a post card today from "Rapid Rimfire" regarding my expected rebate telling me I didn't meet the minimum amount of product purchased to qualify for my rebate and, asking for corrected info and the postcard to be returned to get my rebate. Has anyone else had this problem?
I bought and sent the end barcode labels to them along with a sales receipt for 2 bricks of CCI Std vel 22Lr. What more can I do to prove I met their requirement? They have no ph # to talk to someone about this, just the postcard with a return addy.

If I remember correctly it was buy four get one free. So you would have had to purchase five bricks and they would refund the price of one of your bricks. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

It does not cover std count boxes where 2 bricks would equal 20 boxes purchased? That was my original understanding.

Here is a link to the rebate.

It DOES say "buy 5 boxes", not bricks.

It would work on 5 boxes or 5 cases, $200 was the maximum refund though IIRC.
