Ruger Precision Rimfire.

I was shooting it this afternoon from a rested offhand position and it was shooting 5 shots into one hole that is one bullet wide and 2 bullets high at 25.

Here is a picture of both my scoped and my iron sight guns. Only two .22s I own, so that's what I am playing this game with. But I'm thinking I would like a gun with iron peep sights - those look like they might be fun.

72coupe, your rifle prompted me to wonder whether my short barreled AR was giving me enough sight radius, so I blame my purchase of a 20 inch barrel on you.

That's part of why it is so neat. However, the 20 inch barreled rifle fits in my trunk if I collapse the stock.

Tikka T1x MTR, Vortex Crossfire II 4-12x40 AO in Warne rings. Replaced the "Traditional" pistol grip with the Tikka "Vertical" pistol grip, and added the A2 birdcage.
Wanted juuusst a bit more forward balance, hence the A2... very cheap way to get a few ounces of steel out there.
Can't say I notice a huge difference with the vertical grip vs. the traditional that it came with from the factory. Maybe a tiny bit more comfortable over a long range visit. Going to leave it on, but if I had to switch back for some reason it wouldn't bother me. Only $15, so no regret.
Used the adjustment screw to reduce trigger to 2 lbs even. Think it could turn down a bit more, but I'm quite happy with it at 2. Absolutely zero creep.

Initial attempt to post pictures. Hopefully won't destroy the website. The Marlin is a 1947 so has Ballard rifling. The rear sight is gun show acquisition and the front, a 17a. The 63 is from 1938. I got it off gunbroker a couple years ago. It came out of Nashville. The barrel has been cut to 20" and the cheekpiece was added. It was very well done and works good. It came with a 4x Fecker but the jr targetspot is better. The boots are Redwings.

The one on the bottom has a sort of Joe Kidd vibe.

This one is fast becoming one of my favorite awful hand rifles...
It's a striker Ballard with my design of striker assembly in a Storie casting, 27.5" stainless Pac-Nor 1:15 twist .222 groove, .116 bore and my version of a Schoyen butt stock. The Ugly Ballard weighs in at a measly 13# and even without the palm rest settles and holds quite well. Now all I have to do is focus on finishing it...
