I found an AMT at the gun show and was thinking about buying it but they wanted $500.00 for it at that price I can get a SS Volqu receiver and build a shindig rifle up. Is it worth it?? B2B

Maybe. An AMT Custom Shop version is sure worth it. A Small Game Hunter II in brand new new condition is probably worth it. A Small Game Hunter I or Lightening 25/22 wouldn't really be worth more than $300, even if in excellent condition.
