Mod PreA barrel lenght

I've got a pre A model with a shorter than standard barrel, I just wondering if it was factory.. being shorter.. B2B

All 52 target barrels were 28". The only shorter barrels were the sporters which were 24".

This is a 22" tube so it much have been shortened at some point.. Thanks.. B2B
