That 7.5mil number involves 11 counties; the the expected Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, and Denton counties plus a lot of neighboring counties -- "DFW Metropolitan Statistical Area", a.k.a. "DFW MSA".

Here's another good one, the "DFW Urban population" from 2010 census is 5.1mil. It's guaranteed to be higher today and likely exceeding Finland's Jul 2019 estimated population of 5.5mil.

A lot of people, glad I moved just outside the DFW MSA.

The longest war in US history, involving another country, is the War In Afghanistan started in Oct. 2001 until the present.

I'm originally from Fort Worth, and have been reading the Star-Telegram online since moving to AZ in '02. The S-T recently went to a pay site. I refuse to pay for it. So now I can only read the headlines.

But that's my choice.

Those who've had their Trident pins removed are no longer SEALS, but can remain in the Navy.
The Navy has revoked 154 Trident pins since 2001.

Motown is the poorest big city in the country and even has what they call a rainwater tax on the amount of land one owns with the excuse it will all end up in city storm drains which must be dealt with, even if it soaks into the ground and not driveway or parking lot run-off. Shysters!
