I’ve bought Pro Shot in the 300 patch bag and Hoppes in the 500 patch bag. Really see no difference as both will leave lose strands of fiber in bore. Both were same material and thickness and don’t think you will see much difference between brands using same material flocked on one side and course weave on the other.

Same here on the Hoppes 500 pack. Mainly because the gun shop a mile away has them in all the calibers I use. I occasionally get a strand left in the barrel. I always check with a bore light when I'm done, if I see a strand I run another patch and recheck.
I've tried a few bargain brands, most were thicker and some to tight, with a lot of strands coming out.

For me it was 10,000 gov't .30Cal patches, lol. When I'm using them on smaller calibers, I have to remember how to cut them - for .22RF, we cut them into quarters.

I haven't bought any from this company but I certainly will when I need some more. They employ people with disabilities.

Outrider. must be a Pennsylvania thing. I also got 10,000 30 cal. and if you cut into quarter size they are exactly the same as the 22 patch.

I made a set of brass jags that fit just 2 patch sizes ot all my rifles from 416-9.3-30-264-22.
