Welcome!
I dont recall the model numbers just now but from other experiences will recommend the Lyman or Redfield models that will be specific for your rifle and the existing holes. Either will be fine sights and enhance the value and use of the gun.

Thanks! I have spent a bit of time trying to gather info on sights. Since it is basically the Stevens 416-2, Lyman and Redfield receiver sites are mentioned. The Lyman 57 sight and Redfield 70 or 75 sights are typically identified on these rifles. I see a lot of these on Ebay and Gunbroker, but there isn't much information about the receiver base for either the Lyman or Redfield sights. The correct identification of a base seems to be the biggest obstacle at this point.

This past weekend we had our annual invitational 200yd. 22LR silhouette shoot, properly scaled for 50yd chix, 100 pigs, 150 turkeys and 200 rams. The chix are offhand, the rest ground/turkey seat seated behind cross sticks. This has been traditional single shot rifles but last year we included pre-WWII bolt guns. Iron sights are peeps, nobody used opens but they could, or externally adjusted scopes of any power.
So, I took the 416/Wollensak combo using RWS Match Rifle.....got 7 chix, 8 pigs, 8 turkeys and 7 rams for a 30 of 40. Good for only 5th place but I was (am) very pleased to have done so well against some very expensive target rifles/scopes and very good shooters.
Yep, it be a shooter!
