Question about LLV upper (bolt)

Log in to see fewer ads
Hi, all......

I'm about to take possession of a VQ LLV (basically a Scorpion) upper and VQ lower. I checked it out at the shop and will take it home once it's made Connecticut legal (the compensator must me pinned/welded to the threads).

I know its just about identical to the Ruger pistols, but is it safe to dry fire like the Rugers? It's too late to ask since I dry fired it a bunch, already!

Thanks!

Should be safe, but still not something I would do a lot.

I agree with the above. I only dry fire my scorpions prior to disassembly for cleaning.

Yellow dry wall anchors are your friends. Cheap insurance and at $0.10 apiece they can be used multiple times for as much dry-fire practice as you like.
