I would email and check with them but i remember it being said that it didnt have enough windage to cover a complete rimfire target at 50yds.

I have one and a SEB rest. The Shade Tree adjusting is stiff and harder to adjust.

I used one last season through a long ABRA campaign. I have always liked them because they have much more target movement than some of the more expensive rest, and the fact that they are very smooth with a lighter weight rifle. I also use their alternate tensioners in some of the larger rests and they smoothed them up quite a bit.

Just recently purchased a Shadetree rest top for my Sinclair Competition rest. It's the first joystick rest I have ever used/owned and I really like it. I'm back on target much more quickly than with the Sinclair knob turning. It's very good about staying on target where I park it.

I used one until I switched to a one piece rest. Well made and worked well for me at 50 and 100 yds.

Did you ever try your Shade Tree at 25 yards? Could it cover a card at that distance?

Have not tried that however I think I will. Are you referring to an ARA target?

Never shot at 25 yds. so I don't know if it had enough windage and elevation to cover a target at that distance.

I have one that Butch just swapped out the post so i could use it on my bald eagle base. While he had it he went through it and said the previous owner had taken it apart and i should be much happier with it. It will not cover my fclass rimfire target at 50 yard, i have to use course adjustment from top to bottom. Overall i think they are nice rest for the price and se&a owner Butch is a first rate guy.
