Why, O why, did Zeiss discontinue the Zeiss Conquest Rimfire 3-9x40 ?

Who knows but its always about the money.
Maybe 12-15yrs ago I looked thru a 3-9 Conquest and said wow to myself and didn't buy one because of no AO.

Ive been puttin rounds down range with the leupold efr 3-9. its nice. the eye relief is tight. compared to a leupold 2-7 rimfire, that is very forgiving.

Al the Infidel, I'm tempted to start a thread about "The Ones That Got Away". It'll probably be a sad thread though.

Good to hear your impression of that Leupold, Technician1. I have one of those, still NIB -- you've helped me decide to just hang on to it until the right gun comes around.
