adjustable Sear on H/S Victor, how to

I cant find anything here or on web about how to adjust the sear on these models with adjuster screw or explain what it does and when to use it.

You turn the screw in (clockwise) to make the trigger pull heavier and out (Counter clockwise) to lighten the trigger pull. Unless I got that backwards? I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong. You adjust it to your taste.

Also, check this link to make sure your adjusting screw is still connected and working correctly.

factory specs are no lower than a 2 lb pull
I've seen 2 ruined sears by other running them lower
specs and how to do it are readily available in manuals on J Stimsons site on line
