SR-22 Red Dot

A friend asked me to find a mount and a red dot for his SR-22.

I located an ADE mount and a red dot on Amazon. Price is a concern and this is not expensive.

Does anyone have the ADE mount and the ADE RD3-006B Micro Mini Reflex Sight on their SR-22. How do you like it?

Advice and suggestions appreciated.

Thanks

I used that setup for a friend. I had to shim under the sides of the dovetail for a tight fit on the base. I also got the red dot not green. Base was fine, rd was crap, wouldn’t not turn on then if it did it would just shut off randomly. Replaced the rd with a AT3 Tactical ARO and it has run flawlessly since. Another upside to the AT3 is the battery door is on top like the Burris and Vortex. A few dollars more for the rd but saves you the grief that seems to go with ADE red dots.

I have two of the ADE red dot sights although they are on Ruger MK guns instead of the SR22. Both are around two years old and have worked just fine. I have a Burris Fastfire III on my SR22 and it has given no problem. All three work just like they are supposed to and I shoot all of them more accurately than I could with iron sights, especially the SR22.

I found the ADE web site but can't see a mount for the SR 22. Can anyone fill me in on which model to use? Thanks.

I typed in what I posted yesterday after going to Amazon. I just did it aging and there it is again. It was the second thing on the page yesterday, about seventh today, still the same price, and you will get it Monday.

I myself would spend more and get a little Vortex Venom or Viper. More money but lifetime unconditional transferable warranty and great service. I am far from rich. But buy a cheap red dot. That is what you will get. Probably break right away

The red dot on the cheopos will suck too.

The Burris Fastfire is a good option too. But I have no experience with those though. Go cheap, get crap,LOL
