What is the difference between these guns? Is the ultra lux a trainer with 8 more inches of barrel?

I think it's more like 4" more barrel on the UL plus the UL normally comes with a 10 round magazine adding to its cosmopolitan look. Me, I 'em both.

The UL has a 28.6" barrel, a gold trigger, and the stock has a raised cheek piece and a thick rubber butt pad.

And both variants are great shooters!

The Trainer has the schnabel forend on the stock. The Ultra Lux has the raised cheekpiece on the comb of the stock. The Ultra Lux has the rear tangent sight that adjusts to 300 yards, while the Trainer adjusts to 200 yards. The Ultra Lux has a gold colored trigger and a soft buttpad. The UltraLux comes with a 10 round mag, while the Trainer comes with a 5 round mag. And, of course, the Ultra Lux has 4 more inches of barrel.

If you use the pulldown menu and select 22lr, it shows the correct barrel length.

Yep, first you have to be mentally agile enough to use a pull down......

I have a trainer in 17 hmr
it has a barrel of 20.8 inches as confirmed by the CZ USA ARMS web cite

The UL is availible in one caliper - 22LR with a barrel length of 28.6 inches

The trainer in 22LR has a longer barrel of 24 inches; right?

Anyway, my 17HMR trainer would be approximately 8 inches shorter then an UL barrel...

Your trainer in .17hmr has a barrel of 24.8 inches the same as mine and all the rest that have not been shortened. The silly CZ-USA website is wrong.....again, lol. They get it right if you switch it to the .22lr version, CZ-USA needs someone who knows what they're doing to do their website.....

The 455's are going to the 20.8" barrel. However, the 452 Trainers should all be 24.8" barrels.
