Hi, I'm new here too.

I have 8 BRNO/CZs which I have acquired over a number of years stating with a Model 2 Proofed in '83 followed by a new CZ452 varmint in 98. Since then I have acquired a model 1 (T in circle proof mark) no date stamp, another Model 1, 51. Just this year I have purchased new a CZ455 with three barrels in 22Lr, 22wmr and 17HMR, and a Cogswell & Harrison Certus which is essentially an upmarket CZ455 rebranded in the London gun makers name. Also Have recently purchased a model 5 (27 proof) and a pristine model 4 (57 proof). You could say I have caught a bug!

My go to for range shooting is the undated model 1 and for field use it is hard to go past the Varmint which is great with the short barrel and topped with a Weaver Classic 4X scope.

Just to put the record straight, the Model 5 is a 72 proof, sorry my bad.

My choice would be the CZ 452-2E ZKM Classic.
It’s a “pre American” with a different rear action screw, otherwise typical early CZ quality. Runners up would be either a 453 or 452 GF simply due to the refinements.
I’ve zero interest in the 455/457 series, as I have yet to see consistent accuracy/ groups posted out of either.
