Without the mustard that would be a West Virginia hotdog. None better IMO.

I have one every Monday on my weekly Costco run.

It was the extended and repeated trips to bathroom the following day that wasn’t good.

I know that classic "yellow" mustard (which typically has mustard seed as the second or even third ingredient) is probably the most popular. But I prefer real mustard (mustard seed is the FIRST ingredient) and on a hot dog, Kosciusko and Beer Brat are my favorites. And diced onions are a must! Even better with a strip of dill pickle added.

Ketchup is a distant second.

Ketchup is what 5 year olds put on their chicken fingers.

Hmm? sounds good I'll have to try that. But I think sriracha ketchup might be the ticket.

Someone brought a bunch of hot dogs to work from Pink's in LA once. Piled with so much stuff I couldn't pick it up. Had to use a knife and fork. Not my cup of tea for a hot dog. I want to be able to put half in my pocket for later.
My Wife only hates the Costco Dogs, cause I'm cheap.

Glaze I make for meatloaf is 1/2 ketchup, 1/2 Sriracha and a scoop of brown sugar with some garlic powder shaken on top.

One of the most memorable hotdogs I ever ate was from a street vendor cart in DC back in the 90's.
