Strug, I don't know a lot about wood, but I do know that rifle would be too pretty to bounce around in my trunk on the way to the range.

Looks like June was my once in a lifetime chance to be the high score at 50 yards.

My entry will look pretty humdrum following Kingrider's post, but it may be a record for me.

##25 Yard Scoped Entry##
Zukiphile - 16" CMMG HT- Aguila SV - 472-10X

DATE: 7/9/2021
SCORE: 472-10X
NAME: Zukiphile, 55
LOCATION: Ohio
GUN: 16" CMMG HT
GUN SETUP: 2x Prism
AMMO: Aguila SV
INDIV TGTS SCORES: 97-3X, 92-0X, 95-3X, 92-1X, 96-3X

No eights. That's a first for me.

Warm up target started with an 89 with three eights, but still added up to a 467 with only two more eights on the whole card.

The change to a single stage trigger that holds four pounds and has about a mile of creep seems to keep me from precisely anticipating the shot.

I told Mrs Z that I'm not asking for a cake, but I'll understand if there is one.

Nice shooting, no 8's deserves a cake, that's too funny, I make little goals and rewards too. So many attempts go wrong for many reasons, see below, its nice to reep a reward once in a while. I put the rifle in a case while traveling, but it is going to be used like it has been for the past 65-70 years.

We've been flooded out of our range again so we didn't get to have our silhouette match. Luckily we had a back-up range to go to for some 25 and 50 yard practice.

Sunday 25 yard Iron Sight Practice 7/18/2021
Score: 461-11X
Name: 72coupe/Roy Woodman
Location: Wichita Falls, Txx
Gun: RPRR
Set up: Aperture Sights
Ammo: RWS Special Match
Individual Target Scores: 95-2X, 92-1X, 88-2X, 90-2X, 96-4X eight 8s and a 7 a new record for me.
Notes: 91, very humid, no wind and varying light conditions. I shot another target that was a 459-7X. the only thing remarkable about this target is that it had 12 eights on it, 5 of them in a 0.35 inch group at 3 o'clock on the 4th target. I am just getting over a second bout with Covid and I am quite week.

But you made it out and shot 75 more rounds than I did on Sunday. That's a victory*.

Best of luck on your recovery.

Drove to Oklahoma City yesterday and did 4 hours of survey work gratis for that club. They are trying to create a 1000 yard range.

They have a Tuesday night 600 yard league and they let me get 600 yard zeroes for my 40X in 308. I was really just trying to get a good zero but I only shot 134 out of 200 but I had a good time and finally did get centered.
