Is this rifle that hard to get? I have called every gunshop within a 100 mile radius and nobody has one or acted like they even heard of it.

When you get one, please, please, post a review. Field reports are scarce.

O.K. so I went out to see what this Henry would do. All I can say is WOW this rifle is sweet. When I first got it last night I tried working the bolt to see if it was as smooth as the lever guns, not on your life it was very rough to work the action.I was quite dissapointed I expected much more from a Henry.Well that concern cleared itself up when I started shooting. Now it is just like butter.I fired 3 shots to see if I was an the paper all shot low left so I adjusted and by the time I had fired 10 rounds it was dead on.The groups I could cover with a dime.I was using the Walmart fed 550 value pack. Now if you are a lefty like me it takes a little bit of practice to load this rifle. You don't put the bullet in front of the bolt and it will chamber,no you actually have to start the bullet into the barrel. But after shooting 100 rounds I got used to if pretty quick.Like I said I am really happy with this rifle.Looks aren't all that great, bolt handle looks to by painted silver along with the barrel but I did not buy this gun for a safe queen it will be shot a lot.If you have a chance to shoot one you will be impressed I know I was. After all it is a Henry.

Darn you! You are making the Accubolt more tempting with every post. I have been drooling over the .17 HMR version for the last few days.

I guess I am thinking .17 HMR since I have the H001 in .22. Would just give me a little more variety in my plinking.

I bought the Accu-bolt in 22lr about 6 months ago. Wasn't impressed with it but the more I shot it the more I liked it. I wanted a stainless gun for in the woods and light weight. It does take practice to load. But it does shoot any ammo and is accurate.
