I have a Magpul stock, I donít think it flimsy, and I hope the KRG isnít, I just ordered one for my CZ.

Is that correct? Do all the Kidd magpul stocks come modified for the tang or only if you buy a full rifle? I think the KRG bravo will accept the tang but it is more expensive, I have seen the victor titan stock but dont really like the looks of it. Thanks for any help.
ANY stock can be inletted & bedded for a Kidd rear tang.
Pick the stock, measure the depth of the receiver in the stock at the rear, select a tang that matches the slope of that particular stock behind the receiver....

A proper assortment of Dremel bits and slow cautious work are all thatís needed.

TacSol Vantage RS ... https://www.opticsplanet.com/tactica...0in-stock.html

No rear tang in this one...

Iíve done 3 Vantages, 3 Raptors and many others- laminate, walnut, birch, polymer & aluminum(not bedding). For inletting/bedding, I prefer the TacSol Vantage. Altamont does an excellent job at inletting from the factory. That said, I prefer the ergonomics of the Raptor for offhand shooting. Raptors are harder to inlet & bed for a rear tang because they (used to) come from PWS with a 4Ē square drive decking screw ďpinning the wristĒ, to add strength to the grip area. Those screws were put in TIGHT!!! Iíve broken a couple of square drive bits removing them. I see the need for that added strength in a solid piece of wood that can crack along the grain, but laminate are so inherently strong that itís actually overkill. That said, it has been my habit to remove the four-inch screw, countersink the screw hole deep enough to bury the screw head BELOW the space occupied by the rear tang, shorten the screw and reinstall it.

Raptors

TacSol Vantage

Folks- it really is NOT all that hard to do, if you are patient, take your time and work slowly. There are plenty of pic heavy tutorials here on RFC that can walk you through each and every step.

I remember being told that stuff was made from of old dead horses? I think they told us that so we wouldn't eat it......Maybe we should have more snack time Instead of telling us stories.....

Does this stock come inleted from KRG Bravo or did you you have it done after you purchased the stock?
