This is where I have always bought targets and I think they probably sell to ALL of the others you will find out there. Quick shipping.

October in Tucson

10 yards, iron sights
Ed Magnusen, Tucson
38,42,40,41,40= 201
S&W 422 with Federal Auto Match

422 too light. With my shakes and barrel wobble I canít keep a tight group even at 10 yards. Back home from the mountains.

This is where I found the best price on A23s and they have A23-Rs.

See, not all my ideas are bad!

Beyond the time savings, it helps me make better adjustments having more shots on target. You can see "groups" better when you have fewer targets, and holding them all up to a light placed on top of each other you can see your trends.

In the case of these targets, you can see that your group trend was towards the right. I often use these trends to make adjustments before the next time I shoot. Though we can't correct for the bad shots completely, we can minimize the impact of having an imperfect shot and a sight adjustment that makes the pain even worse.

To me, there is nothing worse than having a fairly tight and consistent group that would be a great score if I just moved the whole thing over an inch and a 1/2 inch down.

Low wind and no excuses that would be believed. Shot a lot of scores this month above 190 but this one was the best, hoping to improve in Oct.
I still need a lot of work at 25 yards, as I'm inconsistent.

And FYI, that is your highest 25 yard score with that particular pistol.

I noticed that while out there. The first bull is really apparent, and I tried with some success to compensate on the second and third. I'm gonna need to adjust the sights a smidgin, I guess.

Wow... just wow. Where to start?

Firstly, I don't see that I'm the top score at all distances... that must be an error. Oh wait, that was all me.

I did find one error. When I checked it was my scores, not yours. I gave someone a couple X's.

***15 yard irons entry**

DATE: 10/8/2021
SCORE: 220-1X
NAME: Signmaster (Bob)
AGE: 58
LOCATION: Va Beach indoor
GUN: High Standard Victor
GUN SETUP: Bone stock
AMMO: CCI SV
NOTES: Chased around some x's today!

Just barely squeaked a 220. Now Gwelo is beating me by 1X... got to work on it still.

This attached is a 10 round target. I might have to go to 5's at this range if I can keep it up. I shot another set with a score of 212... had two on the target of 10 that I had to look for hard to confirm the hit points, and still barely found them. Shot more X's on the lower scoring target... oh well.

Tried again yesterday, not any better. Still using only 3 targets, 5 shots on the first, 10 on 2nd and 3rd. I see it's time to give some attention to my printer, too.

Some great shooting here.

This ain't supposed to be easy.

If it was easy it wouldn't be fun.
