Is this allowed in CMP O-Class?

I was looking at a new sponsor ad here on RFC for this: http://www.seebettershootbetter.com/Home.html

My old, presbyopic eyes can't see a rear leaf sight at all. But I'd like to try using some box-stock and vintage .22s in competition. Would this product be allowed for use in O-Class for CMP Rimfire Sporter?

I did not see anything in a quick review of the rules that would indicate that something like this would be illegal. In my opinion, since these attach to your shooting glasses and not the rifle, there should be no problem with using something like this. Afterall, it's not really any different than using prescription glasses to correct your vision.

Seem like a good idea to me but I would recommend contacting CMP to get clarification rather than assuming it would be okay.

I have used a small scrap of the gummy edge of a Post-It label with a hole punched in it - (use one of the inexpensive 6-hole-sizes paper punches sold by Walmart and Craft stores) - stuck to the lens of my glasses on the dominant eye side. Better yet is a small scrap of a dark-coloured plastic film such as your wife sticks on the storm door of your house for decoration at holiday times.

I have shot CMP matches, including the Nationals, that way on and off since the game started ... great way to increase the "depth of focus" of anyones' eyes.

"Nice pair of the "Contoured" (think Gargoyle) satefty glasses.
Paint the left lense black-ish Leave the bottom open like a bi-focal so you can see. Dril a small hole in the right lense. 1/16-3/32 or whatever works for you. Start small and increase hole size untill you hit the right size.
This gives you a blindr and a Open sight focus dipoter device. !

Since it's not on the rifle, I don't know if they can consider it as part of the sight or not. The rules do state that aperture sights shoot in the scope class unless there are enough aperture Rifles to shoot in there own class. So, you may have to shoot in the "T" scope class.
