EARLY ANSCHUTZ BR BARREL UPGRADE?

Would like to up grade my 65 Anschutsz BR rifle with a new custom match grade barrel. Need some help on finding a source and mfg.

I would contact Evelio McDonald who is a member here.
he did my 1411 5-years ago with a Benchmark I supplied. with 25K rounds down the barrel and it still can shoot 11mm groups at Lapua test center and if you shoot Lapua have him use the Nevius chamber

I'll second Lee's advice - I have a Benchmark along with other quality after market blanks - Very satisfied.
Have some one fit it who understands rim fire and head space & chamber it to suit your preferred ammo.
I personally prefer threaded receivers but the glue in procedure apparently works fine.

I would see if Don Blue could put a Shilen ratchet 4 groove barrel on it. He is on RFC. He did the Suhl 150 I bought from Tommy on here. Super accurate. Shot dang near a perfect 5 shot group with it first time shooting gun in about a box and a half of Eley Match.
