Did Ruger produce this variation or not? Seems all I can find are SS/synthetic smooth and SS/laminate smooth.

i have a m77/22 mag, walnut stock. If smooth you mean a barrel w/o sights......yes, I have one.

Nice rifle snell, how does it shoot? I cant wait to get mine. I've never owned a 22 mag. before of any type.

It will hold minute of groundhog all day to about 125 yards. Within that range it is lights out on the whistle pigs. I like its ability to handle the vegetable farms winds here in South Jersey better the the 17 HMR but getting ammo without breaking the bank is kinda tough now. Still, when the critters start moving in the spring, it's my go-to rifle.

i have a blue smooth .22 mag. that loves cci maxi mags in walnut that i don,t use any more as i bought a marlin 882L in .22 mag that shoots as well and if it get buggered up i will not care to much as it cost 165.00 with a 4x12 swift scope that i sold for 40.00. eastbank.
