Zero oops event with Model 12/15

When I came back home from the range last Saturday...my 12/15 that was encased in a hard cased rifle box, accidentally experienced a two foot tumble to the floor.

I figured it was alright without inspecting it. But on Sunday...I went to the range again with the same rifle, an started to try shooting at a steel target. Turns out it was shooting way low at 100 yards, so I finally inspected the Parker Hale rear sight.

The fall caused the rear sight to collapse vertically to the base of the sight housing. And the vertical sight adjuster threads looked okay --- So I sighted it in again.

It looks like the Parker Hale P7A. I verified zero today from the bench. Maybe the sight release button was pushed in while being jostled around in the case when the rear sight sunk down to the base.
